I am taking pics of my car at a resolution of 4000 x 2248, before I upload them here to an album I downsize them to 1300 x 731 to meet the maximum size requirement for hosted pics here, at this point they are still nice and clear.

When I then post a pic (1300x 731) on the site here from my site hosted album the pics looks really fuzzy.

I see other pics on the site that are nice and clear, how come mine aren't?

Any help would be appreciated.

What is your hosting site?

I use photobucket to host mine. Mine are all nice and sharp/clear.

I don't use a posting site. I post direct with resized images. Looks great to me.

The hosting site I was referring to is the one here at mustang6, I go to user cp and post them in the albums/pictures section.

How does one post pics directly, I hit the the pic icon above and it always asks for a url?

Thanks
Terry

The picture icon is only for linking photos hosted on another site.

To attach a file from your computer directly into your post, you have to click on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the text box. There you will see a paper clip icon where you can select a file from your local computer.
