Those all sound like great ideas!

Definitely tint, I'll decide on roll cages when I see what they will look like. I'm getting a regular 350 and will remove the back seats and wrap them up before shoving them in the darkest corner of my garage...

Clear car bra sounds good and definitely hard wired radar....soooo yeah pretty much what Donson said lol

I will spend a little more time getting the feel of this car before modding

Certain- 93 performance tune with safe rev limit add

maybe- shifter mods, short throw, knob, wheels when available

probably not- exhaust mods- factory usually best for long tern driving ,no poweradder

I expect a pretty stout stock exhaust note, however if not will do exhaust upgrades. I may have stripes painted on, lowering springs if it's actually beneficial to handling and not overly detrimental to ride quality. Speaker upgrades also will be likely. Beyond that, I expect to leave it pretty stock..

My interest in the GT350 is partially due to it being well setup for the track from the factory. I plan on getting the track pack, so I am hoping that means:

1. Brakes are sufficient for track work (they certainly have the thermal mass required, so hopefully the cooling is there as well). Also hope they've made it easy to change pads.
2. Suspension is well balanced.
3. Camber is sufficient for relatively even tire wear on track.
4. Cooling is sufficient for hot days without going into a limp mode or throwing codes.

Based on what I know so far, I think most of the things are covered. Not sure what kind of alignment options will be available, but I might take advantage there.

A lightweight battery may be something I'd spend money on.

On my Z I've done the following to make it more track worthy, and I hope to avoid the need for most of these on the GT350:
1. Front Big Brake Kit (have a Stoptech 13" kit which is awesome)
2. Quiafe Limited Slip Diff. Very similar to Torsen, so won't need this mod.
3. Front upper A-arms and rear lower control arms to dial in neg camber
4. Stiffer sway bars
5. Koni shocks

So far I think pretty much all those areas are covered in stock form.

Tint first. Then wheels (first a nice top shelf summer set, then a lower budget square winter setup, keeping stock wheels for track usage). And full exhaust. Maybe a shifter if I don't like the stock one.

I think the car will be stout enough for me as-is.

Front and rear facing HD Action Cams hard wired to the Ignition. Like I have now.

Wife's name airbrushed in script on her door, My name on my door. Like now.

A set of excellent winter wheels and tires to swap onto it. Like I do with my current stang.

Tinted windows, just barely legal...like I have now.

Then simply enjoy it.

What cameras do you use? Do you have a pic of the names on your car now? Curious how it looks and how big you went. My guess is fighter-jet style not too big on the uppermost part of the door?

Thanks for posting that. Actually smaller print than I thought. However, going too big would probably make it tacky so that's not bad at all there...

Backorder,

Are you going soft on me? I do not care what font or size it is, putting "his and "her" names on the side of your GT350 is wrong !!!....On the side of your NASCAR..OKAY on the side of GT350 NOT OKAY:frusty:
