Ford really doesn’t have a choice on the auto or manual debate. The automotive press will say they wish it was a manual then bash it in the same article for “disappointing times” at the strip and track. Basically every high end performance car comes with an automatic now. They are trying to compete with certain competitors and the new auto transmissions provide a noticeable performance upgrade

Nice car but I’ll stick with my 350 which I think is a more visually appealing car that also has very usable hp

Please justify why you are trading in, or not trading in.
Not gonna do it ....not gonna do it ..Too many other options out there and for the price not enough changes or wow..Looks like they added a corvette blower to the GT350 motor and kept the same crappy interior..not gonna do it..not gonna do it.

going to try to keep my 15 gt but we'll see. i'm certainly aiming for a 500 though but it's going to be a bitch getting one.
Khyber,

There will be many of these 3 months after launch at your local Carmax..There always is..and if you want one with no or low miles some forum owner will buy one and post it for sale just like the GT350. My guess is that they will be available faster than the GT350 because they look the same only diff is the power adder.

I don’t think Ford did enough this time around.

Agreed..that interior needs to be refreshed at the very least and from a side view the gt350 looks better. I am very disappointed.

I sell Hyundais. There isn’t a damn thing on our lot that looks anything like the GT500... which is a pity.

I’m not giving Ford my $75k until it comes with a manual. I don’t care if it’s a few tenths slower at drag strip and slower on the road course because of the manual. I only road race three times a year and drag race a couple weekends as well. I want a drivers car with 3 pedals.

If I had the money I would definitely be in for a GT500 or ZL1 1LE. Maybe with the next Generation of these cars I could afford one :like:
