Depending on price of course and the ability to find it ADM free. I own a 2016 base GT350, no trans or diff coolers and no mag ride. So for me It is an upgrade. If it's not attainable I will consider a 2019 GT350 which now includes what my car lacks as standard equipment.
I just came from a HC A8 to an R for a reason. The HC was the first auto I ever owned for a street/muscle/sports car. Fun car but I'm not getting back into auto. Loving my 350R so much more.
It's all going to come down to the price and performance ratio. On top of that getting a dealer to sell it at or below MSRP because no matter what, EVERY Mustang depreciates over time. Even the GT350R as owners are now finding out.
i'd buy one tomorrow if they brought it to the UK in RHD exactly the same as I would the 350R but lets face it they'll never bring them across even though they'd sell more of either of these halo models than they would the base GT we get over here.
I agree they should add a Tremec manual transmission in the car as an option as well. They're going to lose a lot of money by not offering the car in a manual.
