I would have got one but the price is still high even used market.

I probably get one once the market changes to the latest gt500. I'll take 662 hp for 45k all day.

Its fun. I prefer single digit cars for the street. Its great. People say its not usable. Its very usable. They just are doing it wrong.:D
I don't use that power on the street. Not a smart idea. If I want to go fast I the it to the track.

Nope, just need my license since my job entails excessive traveling

LOL. Everyone needs their license. But you won't have it taken away for a speeding ticket or excessive/exhibition of speed. Sheesh. Live a little dude.

If you can't enjoy a car occasionally spiritedly on a the street, then whats the point of the mustang? To just drive around and look cool? Rev the exhaust occasionally? Come on man, really?

It's like blaming the a gun for killing people.... it's people that do stupid $hit, not the cars.

I had a shelby with 600 rwhp. It was plenty of fun on the street and track.

13 GT500 is a blast to drive if you know how to use it. Ours is a street car for cruising so we don't need it to do more than it does. Very happy with it.

you guys are smoking crack If you think new gtpp is better than a 662hp Shelby. In couple years the Shelby will still be worth more than a brand new gtpp.

2013-2014 Shelby over gt any day of the week.

Is the Shelby faster? Certainly. Worth more? Now, and likely for a long time, just due to what it is and how many were made.

But as far as enjoying it day to day, I think you can see opinions vary. On the road where you CANNOT use 662 (or 435) HP, the GT is a far nicer and better driving car. "Smoking crack" does not apply to those who prefer those attributes.

Why post that people who have opinions different than you must be taking drugs? Worth & value are subjective and everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Sure the monetary value of our GT500 was higher than the monetary cost of the 50YLE. Of course, the sticker on the 13 GT500 was $61K & sticker on the 50YLE was $47K. So there's a difference in monetary value of the car new to begin with. And currently, you can buy a very lightly used 13 GT500 for right around $50K or below. So their current monetary value is practically the same. In the future, the monetary value of both vehicles will drop. Right now, the GT500 is still the top dog in the street Mustang hierarchy. Who knows what will happen when the next GT500 is released? The 13-14s may loose even more of their value because they are no longer the top dogs.

After 3 years in that cheap, plastic interior with a back end that jumps all over the place with every bump, I can say that this new car is significantly better than the 13-14.
