Hey, guys.
I have some spray-on sound deadening that I want to apply to my vehicles. I have the spray-on material, the gun, and the compressor, however, I am inexperienced at removing the vehicle interior components such as the seats, the floor liner (the carpet stuff), and the plastic door panels.
This video demonstrates what the vehicle would have to look like before the spray coating began:
What kinds of shops would offer a service to remove a vehicle interior like this? I know some window tint guys would come out to do a tint install... any ideas on who would do this kind of work (remove everything) and then let me do my painting job and then put it back together?
I'd honestly be happy to do it myself, but when I tried to pull off the first peice of trim (the passengar side trim on the right of the glove box), I broke the bit that joins it to the aluminum-looking dash strip (the one that has the three central vents). I watched all kinds of videos before trying to remove it. I watched Bill from CJ Pony Parts remove it like 5 times. Then I tried and tried and tried to be soo careful and then bam! it snapped right off. Kind of heartbroken, but I think I'll be able to fix it. I just don't want a repeat. Surely someone will take my money and lend a hand?
