Wrapped my interior trim today

Your going to need to do this part in two pieces. Put a inlay in the deeper portion. most likely going to be a bit of a pain, then do the outer area second. if done right you'll most likely not even notice the second piece.

Hmm. That's what I figured. Gonna be hard to make it look neat. While that area isn't that visible, it's gonna be one of those things I notice.

Might just pay someone to do it or paint it.

Good thing I bought an extra set of trim, I can experiment on them. Was only like $30.
