White Madness Auto Shifter Install

So installing the new shifter per the instructions I tried starting the screw in the top hole in the shifter/collar to make the install easier and notice there are no threads in the holes. I tried both the stock and supplied screws. Has anyone else installing one of these have a similar problem and can tell me what I'm missing?

The threads are in the shifting rod. You need to take a small screw drive and slide it into one of the holes when the shifter is on the shifter shaft. This will align the holes in the shifter so you can install the screws. Dont forget to put a little blue loctite so the screws will not back off under vibration

I replaced the stock automatic shifter handle with the Coyote shifter from American Muscle. Looks a lot better.

I successfully installed the shifter and it looks and feels great. Also installed a set of Diode Dynamics smoked marker lights. A very easy and good looking mod.

After awhile mine felt loose cleaned the threads with alcohol and applied drop Blue Locktite
