Im planning on adding a SC kit next spring to mt 15 gt PP. I cant decide between TVS and Whipple. Both have their benefits. I love the whine from the KB cobras. I want to know which 1 is louder and sounds more bad ass. Im looking to put down about 600whp and 500tq.

Whipple is the way to go. Install is easier and will make more power than a tvs.

Of course not. But I cant find much info on the sc whine. I recall reading cobra owners that upgraded from a ported eaton to a whipple or 2.8kb and were dissappointed in the lack of whine. Im currently leaning towards whipple.

I have no problem with hearing my whipple. Damn thing almost got my caught by my wife lol. I didn't tell her that I got a SC and she heard it. But, it sounds great, makes great power too. I can hear it over my catless kooks exhaust.

Glad to hear that. The whipple kit seems like the best posi blower kit. I know that the new 5.0 has forged crank and sinter forged rods but Are there any concerns with running this blower on the stock block?

Whipple is MUCH louder compared to the TVS. I've driven both and its not even close.

The TVS blowers dont make a lot of noise out of the box, there is a nasty 11-14 TVS car that runs at our local track that has a small pulley and it screams. I would certainty put more into your decision than sound however.

Twin screw will generally make a higher peak horsepower number but the TVS will have torque on its side.
