See video. Got a call from my tuner today that my trans started slipping on the dyno in 7th. He said it was better In 6th gear but started to slip a little in 6th as well as time went on. I noticed since I put the whipple on that the trans has done some funny stuff. I’ve felt it slip a time or two in 6th or 7th but thought it was wheel spin. I pullied down and had Dynojet fine tune the car and once it started making pretty good power the car won’t hold at all now. Car made 715 and then couldn’t get it to hold anymore power on 91 octane. I’m wondering if anyone has had a issue similar and if so what could be. Friction plates are smoked? converter? Or could it be just a bad valve body? Once I pick the car back up tomorrow I’m gonna check fluid and just make sure it’s not low for some reason. Car only has 1,830 miles on it. Whipple has only been on for maybe 300 of those miles. Only thing is since it was tuned I’ve notice some hard shifts in 5th gear with medium to normal driving. Any direction would be great appreciated!

Regardless of what is causing it, the slippage or flair up puts it firmly in the needs re-build category. When you check the fluid you’ll probably find it smells burnt and is off color. An experienced tech with a good scanner will be able to pin point the cause.
