I ran 555r nittos on a 650whp gt500 at the track with no issues launching with 17 psi in the tires.

Also ran a MT ET Street SS on a twin turbo 2014 mt82 car... no issues there either.

I’ve also ran/run a 305 street SS on a 9.5 wheel.
I know the GT500 has stronger shafts than the GT's, but good info.

Have any pictures of what the 305 S/S looks like on a 9.5" wheel?

I'd highly suggest swapping out the 3.73s for 3.31s. It was the second best modification I have made to car; Whipple of course being the best!

I run general GMAX all seasons for my daily (they are cheap and have enough hook to get you into the high 10's -see PANDA). At the track I run hoosiers 28x17x10. With 3.73s I was at the limiter before the 1/4 traps.

3.31s make city driving much more enjoyable.

Just ran the calc on a 28" tall tire & 3.73's, yep, close to the limiter through the traps. I won't hit your MPH, but should make it through without going to 5th. 3.31 in my future.

High 10's on a GMAX street tire? lol, wow. AS05's?

Yep... they’re on my twin turbo s550 actually.

Wheels are 18x9.5.

Tire is a Mickey Thompson ET Street SS in 305.
Doesn't look too bad at all. Which tire are you running on the front?

We see that the street ss from mickey thompson works the best for street/strip. We have them in 20's on cars that runs 10's and work great on the street.
Thanks for chiming in! Stick cars with stock half shafts...? If these work pretty well and doing the half shafts now will keep things together, I'd hold off on that bias plys for now. Appreciate the input.

I believe he ( Roush S550) did it on the AS03's which were replaced by the AS05's. I currently run the AS05s.

I think I remember you from the Dynotech driveshaft thread I wrote a while back. You still have it, held up well? .
Yes it held up very well. No I sold it, The Tr6060 takes a completely different shaft. Went CF this time...really made its much smoother.
