There's a plug on my gen 5 case at the front passenger side (just above the port for the bypass line) and it's a 1/8 NPT plug. Is this an acceptable spot to use for boost reference to the fuel regulator?

I think there's a port in the rear but between IAT2 sensors, fuel dampeners and my fuel line routing to the rear, it's a real traffic jam back there (and the unit is already installed, so I'd rather not fight with all of it).

I'm assuming the port/plug that's just above the bypass port would be access to the pressurized case and not something disastrous.

This is the plug just above the outlet for the bypass line. I'm assuming this will be pressurized and provide boost reference?

Yes. I used that port for mine as well when I did my fuel system.
