I will be doing a whipple next winter and would like to order some caliper paint that matches the "Ford Blue" Whipple. I reached out to whipple and they told me that the powder coat on it is an americoats dy-112-5. I can not find a way to cross that to an actual paint code. Does anyone happen to know the paint code or access to a system that could get it for me? I'm looking at doing the g2 caliper painting system if that matters. TIA

I believe it’s pretty close to Grabber Blue so if you use the Mustang specific G2 colors, Grabber Blue is your best bet

Jared @LethalPerformance just put a video out on their S650 (Grabber Blue Metallic) and he mentioned something about getting their Whipple color matched to match the car color. Maybe he can chime in as far as what the Ford Blue color is and how to go about getting a custom color on a Whipple

The Ford paint code for Grabber Blue Metallic is AE. As far as the powdercoat color goes I don't know which one Whipple used for our blower. I'll ask them and make sure to give my opinion on how the blower matches the car once the kit shows up.

Thanks!

Thanks! I loved WWF as a kid. Watched it all the time and recorded hours and hours of it on VHS back then. Might have to do a few more characters of my favorite wrestlers.
