Does anyone have any info regarding the color "ford blue"? I'm trying to determine how much it differs from grabber blue but can't find a whole lot of useful/reliable information online. Thanks in advance.

I remember back in the day ford blue was the a term used for the engine color of some ford engines and engine related parts, also the blue oval emblem had some different shades of blue. Grabber blue was I think the 70's era mustang and torino body colors...

Corporate blue is what went on the engines starting in '66. It's a much darker blue than Grabber Blue. Dupli-Color has a great spray Bomb match.

Are you referring to the Ford Blue coil covers? If so it's close but not identical.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I was getting my stripes installed (GT350 style) and the guy only had what he called Ford Blue available for the pinstripe. He put a small sample on the car and it looked good but didn't really pop the way grabber blue would. So i played it safe and went with light silver. I may eventually order the grabber blue pinstripes from Bigworm and do the install myself.

HAH, you asked nicely and you're a fellow Canadian so here you go:

Beautiful, thank you ;)
I'm getting my Magnetic Mustang soon (hopefully lol), and am actually considering matte black and orange, or matte black and lime green, and that definitely a possible combination as well ;)
Thanks again for the fast reaction :headbang:

Both combinations will look great, it's all a matter of personal preference. If you ask me, any color combination where the pinstripe "pops" on top of a darker color (e.g. black, magnetic, guard, DIB) looks fantastic. be sure to post pics once they're installed:cheers:

The '65 black and gold is why I did this.

Here's what Orange would look like (sorry for the low paint skills edit lol)
I do think it would look great indeed, probably will go this way :)

But Lime green looks awesome too... lol
