My car has 4.4k miles and I have had the Whipple on the car for 3k miles. So I put gas this morning and before I left the parking lot the wrench light came on. When I left for lunch the wrench light was gone. So I came home and put my scanner on it and it didn’t show any codes. It feels different when driving it. Anyone ever had this happen.

I've had a wrench light 3 different times with my Whipple stage 2 car. Twice it was starting it up right after a short time parked. Turned the engine off and restarted it and the wrench light went away. The other time it happened just as I hit full throttle in 2nd. That scared the crap out of me since it barely wanted to run and I had to pull over thinking I'd blown something up. Started right back up and ran fine.

From what I've heard, it's usually something to do with the electronic throttle. The computer didn't see something it liked with the throttle body and threw it in to limp mode.

Thanks. I was starting to freak out a little because of the low miles and I don’t abuse it. So far so good no more light. Hope it stays that way.

smann, I don’t know if it’s in my head but cruising at part throttle feels a little lagging.

I think you should Log and send to your tuner.. Might just be in your head but the wrench light could have been anything.
