I have choices on buying a few used setups, one is a 6 rib setup and one is a 10 rib. At what point does the 6 rib start to slip and have issues?

As I always do I plan to max out the blower at some point, but if I have to plan on dealing with slip at moderate boost and pulley sizes, I would rather just go for the 10 rib. The main issue is the 10 rib doesn't come with injectors nor any tune, and doesn't have the extra fans on the hx. So its a give take.

I will keep that in mind, though going that route I have to purchase a flash tool and tune as well. Looks like the tune is $250 and no idea what flash tool it uses.

I have a set of ID 1000's I have that I would get rid of. Nothing wrong with them, just went bigger.
