Hi y’all!

somewhat of a dummy question from me end - like 1.5y ago I bought a 2018 Mustang ecoboost convertible with ~37k miles on it from a local dealership. They told me they serviced everything before selling it.
Now I put like 17k miles on it and I’m sticking with the regular oil change “plan”, but besides the airfilter I haven’t really done any additional maintenance.

To be honest I was a bit lost at the Ford dealership what is really needed to be done at now ~55k miles.
Does anyone have some general indication for me what you would service now/ in the next couple of thousand miles?

I was thinking about (I don’t have any issues currently while driving):
• Spark plugs
• I’m aware that the back brake pads need to be replaced
• Brake and transmission fluid?
• Cooling system flush?

Thanks a lot upfront!

Most manufacturers call transmission oil lifetime oil. That definition can be interpreted differently. Depending on how shifting feels, it might be good to use new oil.

Usually brake fluid is changed during maintenance service but if the break pedal feels spongy then bleeding breaks and changing break fluid is a good idea.

Engine coolant: I saw Ford is continuously releasing new coolants with different color, so the newer coolant might be better. should be checked first if a change is compatible or required at all at that mileage. Do not use additives.

At one point you should check carbon buildup after another 40k - 50k miles, it seems the smaller I4 2.3L is not port injected like the coyote.

Beside that the 2.3L engine looks solid enough. As for turbo engine in general, avoid turning off the engine immediately after heavy use, it's bad since the turbo is very hot then and coal might form up from the hot and uncooled oil in the turbo. that will help long term durability.
