so after having bottom end failure, I decided that I'm going to go ahead and make the big boy step and go to a built engine. i have been told to euther go FFRE or RPG. Does anybody have any advice opinion over one of the other and why? Trying to stay around the 1000 whp consistently without failure as much as I can. I was thinking of going with the level two from RPG. With this i am grabbing a bigger intercooler and switching to the ESS G3R head unit, along with a colder thermostat. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions or advice thank you. pfa

I don’t know about FFRE, but I’ve heard RPG lead times are extremely long.

FFRE hands down. Picked up their stage 3 gen 2 after seeing some scoring on my cylinder walls in my aluminator (couldve sleeved it and reused but said ef it). Car made 930rwhp and 700 tq on 17/18 psi (can go upto 21 if I want to push it). Tons of head room on the motor if I ever want to take it to 15/1600 hp. The $ is worth the squeeze imo

i will make my decision in a couple days. considering the ess is advertised at max 1100hp so i think even stage 2 stuff would be the most i would need but i honestly think im going to hover around the 900ish mark. it would be nice for bragging rights to be in the quad digits but i think 900 would be the sweet spot for me. also, lead time will be a determining factor as well. i want to be able to drive it this summer as well. we shall see. but im dead set on either rpg or ffre

May I ask who your tuner will be and what was their preference? Getting your tuner on board from the getgo is key as if it is a setup they dont want to tune, they will not tune.
