I’m going to be tuning the M1 once I get to Florida with Wengerd. Since I can’t use the Ngauge on a 2022 and sold it I’m just wondering what all you guys who went with Wengerd are using. I thought I was gonna try the AVID but I’m hearing some bad things after updates are done. What are all of you using? I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

Are you just wanting something you can monitor certain sensors with?

Pretty much. The car will be completely stock when I get there and I’m going to do a resonator delete with an H pipe and then I really just want to tune so I can get some better transmission shifts and things like that in sport and track mode. Maybe FI later but I’m not sure if I need that at my age.

Should of kept the Nguage. Could of just used it to monitor whatever you wanted after you flash wengerds tune with an RTD or whatever else you chose to use.

I'd also spring for the E85 Tune if you want a noticeable improvement.

I have the AVID device, tuned by Wengerd. . Absolutely awesome. I can load a tune in a minute to two minutes. Super easy to data log. Highly recommend it.

Thanks. That's the one I was looking at. Have you had issues with the updates? Some have said it clears all their settings and they have to redo them every time.

I have the RTD+, it's a pain buying credits but the tuning process itself with Wengerd was seamless.

Thanks Mike.

Did you have to buy credits for the original tune or only when you want to do upgrades like your ESS?

I have not had any issues. Personally it is the best device I have used.

Hmm not sure, I only did the ESS tune with Wengerd, but I get the impression that the credits apply to the VIN and not each individual tune.

I have an old HP MVPI2 from 2018 and I used that along with the TDN app on my phone. Tuning was so flawless and easy by using the TDN, I will never go back to dragging my laptop out to the car and plugging it in again. Wengerd all the way, and spend the extra and get the E85 tune, it's well worth it.

That's exactly correct. Once you buy the credits for a vehicle to tune with an HP device, you can switch from multiple tunes and/or multiple tuners and never need to buy credits again for that vehicle. Think of the credits as an individual device that is locked to that vehicle. I have two different cars tuned by an HP device and they are both listed in my TDN app on my phone, I just had to buy credits for each one.
