My Speed Dawg shift knob was delivered yesterday and I installed it last night. Super easy to do. Quality is first rate. These shots are not that great but here's a few pics.
Nice, I've got the same one only mine has the Ford Racing logo instead of the 5.0.

If I ever get my car, it'll be the first thing I do when I get it home. I think it'll look kickass with my Redline interior.

Which one is that? A Hurst without the logo? I really like the script...seems more retro than the Roush one. Is the script etched in (i.e. Can you feel it as an indentation)?

Exactly! When I called to order it I asked for the "old school" look. No company logos, engraved shift pattern and old style block letters.
It matches the 5 speed knob in my '66.
I almost screwed up ordering. I told them I wanted a plain white knob. He took it to mean just what I asked for. Plain white with no shift pattern. D'oh! Clarify when you order " no logo's " and your shift pattern engraved, not smooth.

Just ordered Black with White Rally Stripes and White Ford Racing (too many 50th , 5.0 and Mustang Badging already wanted something slightly different) from Speed Dawg. I have used them in the past, and their customer service is top notch and their product is perfect (I believe they make the knobs for almost everyone)...

How do you go into reverse with that hurst knob? Looks like the collar is up inside the knob.

Just like stock. Photo was taken with shifter in reverse.

Maybe a 1/4" taller?? And that's because the ball is a bigger diameter than the stock. It sits down low with a pocket machined out for the reverse sleeve to ride up into.

I actually really like the stock shift knob. I never normally like the stock ones

my thoughts exactly. all these guys with solid ones that will heat up in the summer will be complaining about needing to put a rag over it pretty soon ;)

To those with a speed dawg knobs hows the overall height compared to stock?
Can't really tell any difference height wise. The Speed Dawg knob is a little bit fatter than the OEM knob; but it feels good.

Quite the opposite. Friend had an '11 with the metal top on his knob. He was constantly burning his hand in the summer time and kept a rag over it for that reason.
Report back this July/August and let's see who has palm blisters. (From shift knobs, not shifting your knob that is. :D )
