I've seen your exact car (Well, this one was an auto) and it was gorgeous. My dad went from thinking it wasn't bad to wanting to trade his in immediately. After we've put hours in to mods..... Even if you don't see one before you get your car, it'll make it so much more special seeing it for the first time. And by that time we should see the marketing push.

Gah I'm going to lose my mind when I see it. My salesman is loaning me a 2014 King Ranch to camp in the morning of delivery. Lol.

I hope the commercials are like the 2011 ones. I really enjoyed that style.

Funny; seems to me their ads are everywhere -- but, of course, Google Chrome tracks what I look at, so all my ads are for Mustangs and Mustang parts -- I haven't watched television in years, so no idea what t.v. ads are playing.

Only one thing I hate more about the new age internet than this, and it's the new style pop-up ads that seem to be everywhere. and they are built into the script of the website and you can't block them without blocking all the useful stuff that is scripted into the site. And it's more than just chrome, it's all the browsers and just about every site.

Those commercials really get the blood flowing. I think the marketing has been a little on the weaker side, but I'm not sure us enthusiasts would be satisfied until we see a 5.0 shredding rubber in a TV spot.

It's too bad the focus will be more on the Ecoboost. 50 years of Mustang and an upgraded 5.0; how can you pass on that?

I keep watching the 5.0 commercial. The last Ford V8 I owned was the 4.6 in 08. The 5.0 is like a unicorn compared to my challengers 5.7....push rod...

I loved the 2013 commercial, however I don't see them putting the full court press on ads until the cars are actually in the showrooms. So customers can see a commercial and actually be able to buy one. It's a huge turnoff to general public to see an ad and have the product not be available to purchase... The key here is patience

Weirdest car launch ever...Ford should hire Dodges marketing team. They literally decimated Ford's "launch" or lack of it and stole any thunder Ford had or didn't have prepared. I guess Ford thought they were going to ride the "GT is just as good as the M3" Car and Driver article wave forever...

If I wasn't a car enthusiast and didn't know how good this car was going to be I would have ZERO interest in it because Ford hasn't done anything to make me want it. Guarantee you I would have people drooling over this car if it was my job..I would be blitzing social media, have unveilings at dealerships, have special videos being released, TV commercials, have exclusive clubs that you received stupid cheap nic knacks, emails and notifications..Ford should have a frenzy for this car when it hits the showroom floors and what has Ford done...Silence with the exception of crickets.

Seriously? who sells more cars ford or dodge? pretty sure the one who sells more has the better marketing team. Dodge is going all out because they have been losing the sales war.

I fully expect to start seeing a big Ad push by Labor Day before these things go on sale. Maybe even late august, depending on when they expect them at dealerships. Xlover has a good point. People would be totally turned off and go buy something else
