Where is the key hole?

My battery is dead---maybe my fault. I need to get in the car to open the hood so AAA can recharge or replace the battery. I have the key but I can't find the keyhole for it. The fob is no use now

Insert the blade into the small cover on the door handle on the bottom and slide rearward to remove it to expose the key lock.

I don't know, maybe I'm weird. After I got the car home from the dealership and we stopped staring at it and opening things and staring some more and pushing buttons and staring some more and opening more things that we found and, you guessed it, staring some more I went inside and read the manual...

Well my manual says there is an ignition in the cup holder but there definitely isn't. I still don't know how to manually start this car.

I believe the manual also says you have to lift out the rubber lining and there it is!!!

It's referring to the little rectangular inlet under the rubber liner in the cup holder. You place your fob in there if the fob's battery is low, or it doesn't get a good connection with the car for whatever reason.
