this weekend got a low brake fluid warning on dash, added some brake fluid and I noticed my all weather floor matt was wet right next to the clutch pedal. thought ok it was raining and my feet were wet. so it dried up and today its back. is the slave or master under the dash?

Yes, it's under the dash. Get down there with a flashlight and push the clutch pedal with your hand and you'll see the rod that enters the clutch master cylinder. It's mounted through the firewall. The slave in inside of the transmission bell housing behind the engine under the car.

when you dried it up, was it water? ...or was it brake/hydraulic fluid?

how did it feel? ...smell?

Is your sound tube still in place? If no... is the hole plugged?

The clutch master cylinder is just on the engine side of the firewall from the clutch pedal. The shaft seal could be leaking. That's the only path for fluid to enter the cabin. The brake master cylinder is the same.

It’s brake fluid without a doubt once I looked up by the pedal I could see where it had dripped down

Under powertrain 5-60 warranty I’m at 58k so I’m lucky. Yea it says the whole pedal assembly has to come out then it just unbolts off the clutch pedal. It’s between the firewall and the pedal so no way to snake it out I guess. All data shows 3 hour r&r, I have a bad back and neck so this will save me a ton of pain
