When you leave information of that much significance out of the early part of the discussion, don't be surprised when the replies treat your mods like they were only simple entry-level bolt-ons - cold air, lowering springs, etc. Things that can easily be reversed or parted with without much regret.

Don't fault the rest of us for what we didn't know . . . and for what we probably still don't know. Which starts with your reason for wanting to do this swap in the first place.

The A10 will need to have overall gear spacing better suited to the engine and the car's usage. Not just more gears or a super-low granny-gear or ridiculously tall OD gears that you'd have to drop down 4 gears from before getting decent response.

That information was not brought into the discussion as this thread was specifically inquiring if there is dedicated hardware to the OEM remote start option.

It became a part of the discussion when "financial advisors" joined in on the thread to go down a different path based upon their assumptions.

No where in this thread was I looking for opinions if I should do the auto swap, thus the reason for doing it is irrelevant to you.

Yes there is dedicated hardware for the OEM remote start option: a vehicle that came with an automatic transmission.

This thread may be a bit outside your league, as you were previously posting about struggles to locate and remove your oil filter.

If I need assistance on changing my oil or making the difficult decision between jack pads or rails I'll be sure to reach out to you.

If you wanted this thread to follow a different path from the run-of-the-mill MT to AT topic (where selling the MT car and getting the auto version is absolutely the best choice in terms of both cost and time spent) you needed to provide enough information to point it in a different direction. "$20k in other mods done already" would have made it different and just might have defused the 'cheaper to just get an AT car' sidetrack before it had a chance to get started.

I still suspect that there's enough differences in the AT and MT ECU coding and necessary sensor capabilities to make it difficult and involved (at best) to make your MT ECU do what you'd like it to do with this.
