We collected Ruby, our Ecoboost Convertible, yesterday and she has now met her sister Sally:-

My dealer fitted a “sto n sho” number plate bracket and also agreed to fit a 50th Anniversary front grill but unfortunately they found it was damaged when unpacked. So a slight disappointment since it would have linked the overall looks of both cars together from day 1.
We collected Ruby from Manchester and had a fantastic drive home to Rotherham via the Woodhead Pass, Holme Moss and a stop at the Oil Can Café in Holmfirth for brunch.

If anyone wants a drive / meet around Holmfirth then I can highly recommend the Oil Can Café as a venue - http://thecardingshed.co.uk/. Arrive before noon and the mechanic’s breakfast is a must!

Fantastic. Two very cool looking cars.

The Oil Can looks like a great place for a meet 'up north' ;)

I'll be up for that when mine arrives in a couple of months. Might be a couple of months later though before I'm confident enough to navigate the narrow roads that lead there in a full fat GT!

So MG, what's your fav? It's nice to see you've practically got 'Grandad' and 'Newborn baby' as two cars, but lets hear the pro's and con's of each. I can't say i've ever had the chance to drive an older mustang, but that for a driveway has me all tingly inside . So lets hear it!

Ebay - Quirkparts

Shipped in the original Ford packaging which is just a cardboard box with no protection inside so if the box gets dropped on its end in transit the thing cracks. From what I've been told this is a common problem - Ford strike again!

PLUS, they were both produced on the same date - 19th October.
