When is the first delivery to Oz?

Rang my City Ford sales rep today as he thought he would have his first deliveries by now. Was advised by another sales rep that probably won't be there for another 2 weeks or so as the cars need to go through Compliance for the first time and transport needs to be organised etc. So first batch seem to be taking a while with subsequent shipments probably going through the process a little quicker I believe.

Once cleared they need to ship them back to the USA to check they're still "flatrock " certified.....then they get shipped back to Oz....when Ford said its 50 years since we had a Australian mustang they weren't kidding.

Melbourne, Port Kembla and Brisbane vehicles on the Fidelio now listed as "Liner Release" status. Anyone know what that means?

Looks like the Fidelio is still in port at Melbourne and is due to arrive at Port Kembla on Friday before getting to Brisbane on Sunday. Hoping there isn't another 2 weeks to be added on due to compliance...

The last contact my dealer had with Ford Australia was Tuesday and it was indicated to them that they would have the cars within a matter of days and there was no indication of any further delays. I'm right across the road from the pre delivery centre and am checking daily to see when they arrive. Still hope to have my keys next week!
