It’s been at the port Baltimore since 10/8/15, Steve. Getting closer, and closer. Have a great day!

Deysha just gave me an update that my GT arrived at the Port on Oct 6 .... so I hope we are on for a TAMESIS Oct 18 sail date :)

Will be checking my VIN against the cargo ID's on Sunday all day to see if it's loaded LOL. It's due to dock at Baltimore 2015-10-17 20:00 UTC

Game On !!!

I have some news on what was causing the delay to the cars at the upfitters but I am waiting for some more information on the actual specifics.
Ian.

So we technically should have all got our cars November and December I'm guessing? If it wasn't for the hold up at the upfitters

One thing I can tell you is that I got my window sticker overnight and I also got a screen grab of the Vista site with all my info. My segmentation date is the 12th October, which is obviously out of sink with just having received the window sticker, plus the Etis site has not been upgraded with all my details.
Ian.

I just received a message via FB from ford service Australia. I have been sending them status update requests via the FB page - anyway - they replied today saying:

" sorry for keeping you hanging. We are hoping for news soon. We plan to keep you updated in the coming weeks - including a phone call.."

Not much info there.. we need more people to complain to Ford Aust via FB.

Have been getting the same responses from my fb pm(s) to Ford Australia. ..."sorry for keeping you hanging on – we should have some news for you soon. Just as soon as we can, we'll give you a call with an update. Thanks,"

Looks like the party line is rolled out to every query.

My response to the fb reply was "Guys it is taking you a very very long time to provide any formal Ford updates. It can't be that difficult given I can find out my Mustang status from public forums on the internet." Their response ? I can still hear the crickets.

I must add that my local dealership team have been nothing but supportive. They are actually more in the dark than their customers and have been reliant on intel from their customers like us for updates on Mustang. I point the finger at Ford Australia for what appears to be a total disregard for it's customer base. A customer base for a large part that have moved from red to blue for Mustang like I have. Given the level of details we (as forum members) are able to pull together via this forum including from Ford US Customer Service and what from Sunday will be realtime tracking of the ship containing our Mustangs. I just don't get the arrogant approach from the manufacturer, Ford Australia.

The updates and communications I have seen from Ford UK to it's Mustang customers puts Ford Australia to shame.

Any marketing organisation worth it's salt monitors social media (including these forums) and should be quick to respond and engage with it's customers in the same business day. If Deysha can be doing this in the US for the US, Canada, UK and Australia Mustang customers. WTF is Ford Australia doing for us ?

I have been waiting for some more information, but so far it hasn't been forthcoming, so here is what I know. The cars were being held up because our Government has made some changes to the regulations (or legislation) that as a result, there is a running upgrade that needs to be performed on the cars before they can be released from the upfitters.
At this point I do not know what that upgrade is, but I am hoping I will know sooner rather than later.
Ian.

This car hasn't recieved an upgrade since it was first mentioned. I wonder what they will take off us now? Maybe the wheels?
