Curbed my front wheel this morning and took a chunk out of the tire.

P Zero Nero All Season 255/40/19 96W

The chunk is decent but does not reach the metal ribbing inside the tire.

Obviously I'm going to have this checked out by a tire guy but I wanted to ask you guys before I get ripped off.

Please let me know what you think.

You need a new tire. If you continue on the tire you could have a blow out

Yeah the tire is a loss. I suggest you find a spare because that tire is compromised. I don't even know how someone would even fix that. But I'm not an expert

No reputable tire shop will fix the sidewall. The tire is a loss if the damage is on the side.

Brotha I recommend swapping that tire out as soon as you can its a bad hit and there is a lot of material loss where its most important.

As for the rim it can be repaired but that's not a big thing at the moment.

Please replace the tire before it blows out at highway speeds...

Driving it on the backroads at speeds below 45mph tomorrow straight to the dealer where it will get a new tire. Ford will match tire racks price and install for free. Not bad ford.

$198 plus tax.
