I'm frankly confused about what tune should I go with for my new 2015 GT, I want to retain the stock intake (with a K&N filter) which I think it's better then most of CAIs on the market...I need also an easy tune to unload and a friendly hardware to use by myself, I do not trust the garages where I'm expat in Spain..

I've been told the SCT X4 programmer should match my needs.

What are your direct experiences with it?

Comments and advices will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Used it to tune my 2015, got an email Tune from Lund (got 2 custom tunes, one for stock, one for catback exhaust/intake, as I was going to be adding those items shortly thereafter)

Extremely easy to use, as well as can check/clear codes, and has other useful functions as well

I found it easy to use as well (cant be much simpler). The only issue I had was the initial update process; after software installation, I updated the unit and when to go flash my tune but it didnt work (believe the SCT showed an error that it needed an update). I went to the computer and plugged it in again and got a message that it was up to date (no update pushed). Back to the car and it still didnt work. Back to the computer for some investigation and after plugging it in again, it took the appropriate update. Not sure if others had the same issue but I thought it was a bit odd. Since then, it has been great. I've flashed a few tunes, recorded data, and uploaded it to the computer. Very happy with the SCT.

I purchased an X4 from Steeda shortly after they came out about two years ago for my Focus ST. I had a few quirky issues with error messages but SCT updated the firmware and it's been fine since. When I traded my ST for an Ecoboost Mustang I put the ST back to stock and used it to tune my Mustang. I have used the data logging features to have my curent tune dialed by my tuner.

I have the sct x4. I had to update the software on it before I could use it but it worked fine after this. It was easy to update and use and the canned 93 octane tune did well with the factory airbox. I made 391whp. The jlt tune did awesome as well, 415whp with the canned tune! I later bought a custome tune from Lund and it was very easy to load from my email to the x4. The datalog feature is also easy to use and very cool.

We've been using SCT products for many years with excellent results. Their programmers are very easy to use.

We offer the SCT X4 with custom tunes from Lund Racing. That's the route I'd recommend going.

Here's a link to the power packages we offer with the SCT X4 as well as the new Lund Racing nGauge which is another bad ass device/monitoring gauge.

Give us a call if you have any questions or would like to place the order. We have the nGauges in stock and just received another 50 X4's yesterday.

Thanks, Jared
