Just curious. Mine got to 10km today...(10km left til empty)

Got me thinking if there's a reserve or anything when you get to 0km.

I thought there was more of a buffer after it shows 0 miles and ended up running out before lol. I got around 7 more miles out of it after it showed 0 miles

I think I've hit 6.

When I went for the test drive it was on 0 and the salesman said we had to get to a station ASAP because it's accurate.

I once got mine to 1 mile to empty.

Just based on how many gallons you added and giving it some leeway for accuracy, i would wager you had 7-8 miles left if you stayed out of the throttle.

I had a sonata several years ago with a 16 gallon tank and drove longer than I normally would with the light on. When I filled up, the pump said I had put in 15.9 gallons..LOL

Let it hit 0 once and only made it maybe 5 miles before I ran out. 50 yards away from a gas station while waiting on a red light. On a hot central Florida summer day. Wearing a suit.

Haven't trusted hitting 0 since.

I ran under 0 for a while, but it's because the computer still thought I was getting like 8 mpg from the track day.

It was 10 miles to empty and I still had like a quarter tank lol.

IIRC the tank is actually 16 gallons, not 14.5

So if you get 15MPGS, you can go about 22.5 miles after hitting 0.

I've gone 15 or so miles after hitting 0.

I have an 18 gallon tank in my 2014 Altima. My last fill up I put 18.001 gallons into the tank.

One thing I always do with a new car is wait for the gas light to come on. I immediately go to fill the tank. I then compare the amount I filled it with and the capacity on the manual. On my S550 GT, the light went off at 12 gallons and the capacity is 16 gallons. I now wait to fill up when the miles left are around 25 to keep a few gallons in the tank.
