but want the logbook stamped.
I cannot speak to pricing. Ford might have a general price point, but each dealer in their own region might run specials.

I can appreciate owners wanting to maintain a FSH. One option to consider for DIYs: the Ford Pass App allows the owner to upload their own records. When I changed my oil, I uploaded my own note, with a photo, confirming the date, odometer, products used, etc. Using the App, service histories can also be transferred, when/if the car is sold.

Above is Ford's boilerplate.

Possible contributing factors for a $150 price point:

- Full price for oil over and above six quarts
- Using full synthetic vs synthetic blend (if requested or required)
- Any GT350 specific conditions or requirements

Edit: considering others' comments, age of the posts and inflation, $150 is not out of line for a GT350.

Considering just the cost of the oil alone, 150 would be a deal. My discounted AMS oil case of oil cost 130+. We use 10 of those. The filters can be 30 bucks or more from ford I think for the spin ons. Drain plugs also add in. I bought like 20 of those quite a while ago for a couple bucks a piece off Rock Auto. I also grabbed some spin ons there in the past for closer to 15 bucks a piece a while back.

I just paid $180 at a Ford Dealer here in PA 2 weeks ago, $150 isn't terrible at all.

I just had my 2016 GT done this morning at the dealer. Oil/filter,multipoint insp, lube locks latches and hinges, front end check, under hood check, top up windshield washer, tread measured, and pressures checked, and they put 43psi in tires, not sure where they got that spec. But it seems I got a good deal at $110.95.

Gosh after seeing some of these prices people pay for an oil change, I am glad I have the ability to change my own for 1/3rd of the cost of most of these places.

I know not everyone is comfortable doing it on their own or have the space/tools, but just goes to show the price of "convenience".

Where are you finding full synthetic 5/50 oil for 1/3rd of the cost?

I can't buy the oil and filter for less than $140 for my 2018 so an extra $40 for me not having to deal with disposal and getting dirty is well worth the price. If I could get 10 quarts of synthetic 5/50 and a filter for $50 then I'd damned sure do my own changes.

$150 for a GT350 oil change is on the low side, so based on that I would say it's roughly 1/2 the cost. But seeing prices of $2-300 you can easily get that for 1/3rd the cost. I also saw a bunch of 5.0 owners comment that they pay well over $100 and that's even more highway robbery.

$70 for oil and a $15 filter is what I just got done this past weekend.

I buy the oil and filter myself and take it to the dealership. They charge like $20 to do the change.

My experience recently with my local dealer was $40 to do the oil change with my oil and filter.
