Whats the deal???!

So I placed an order for a 16 GT back in August 7th, and I just got informed my scheduled build week isn't until another month from now (10/26/15). Isn't that SUPER SLOW? My priority was 13, which isn't 10, but should my order really be THAT far behind others due to just that? So frustrated T_T. Do you guys know if there is anything that can be done? My salesman isn't very helpful (or just doesn't really know what can be done). My current car is breaking parts left and right, so it would be nice if I got my new one sooner rather than later :frusty:

Have you asked the dealer to bump up the priority? Is that a screenshot from him or are you tracking it yourself?

Dude that's a perfectly reasonable timetable. You can request a higher priority from your dealer but I don't think moving up from 13 will be all that helpful

That's what I'm about to do. It would be awesome if they could somehow give it a 1-9, but I doubt it at this point. Thats a screen shot from him.

I don't think 4 months is a perfectly reasonable timetable. Orders that were placed after me are way ahead of mine in the process. Don't see how that makes sense.

Seems pretty quick to me lol. Ordered back in May and ETA is October 5th.

You do realize that most of your waiting time was from Ford not doing anything with those orders right? In May, you already knew Ford wasn't going to schedule and build 16's until August/September. If you place an order in August/September and it takes 4 months for you to receive the car after Ford is at full speed with scheduling/building, then THAT is not normal. :doh:

Oh ya I know. I completely agree. However, they told me at the time that it would only take 6-8 weeks to get my 2016 back then :lol:knew that wasn't happening

Yeahhhhhh.... Because 8 weeks from when you ordered it would be June/July... For anyone to think that was true...well... :headbonk:

Normal timing. Ordered mine in May and supposed to be here 1st week in October. 2 months is normal, 3 if they are back-logged.

4 months is ridiculous now that they are in full production. The priority depends on other things too, as I'm sure you know. Mine was a lofty 19 but was built the same day as others with higher priority codes (lower numerically).

1. My timing is normal.

3. 3 months is =back-logged, which is .... not normal?

My timing will be around 4 months from order date--->delivery. How does that fall under #2 or #3?

That's what I thought too. But only those special rare lucky ones get to be scheduled way out till next month. :(
