I had ordered on 7/8. My dealer told me I would have it early September. Around 9/20, I still had no vin, no build date. I told my dealer to cancel the order. They asked me to give them a couple days. My priority code was 10 (very small dealership) but next time I looked it was bumped to a 1. I got a vin and build week a couple of days later. So it doesn't hurt to complain a bit. It might get you bumped up.
In my case, I wasn't aware that building wasn't starting until September. I was told that it will take 6-8 weeks, but usually closer to 6. My EDD is 10/29, so I'll be around 4 months as well. I feel your pain!

Dealer allocation could be the problem no?

The reason you waited so long is because your dealer ran low on allocation. They make you wait longer while more inventory becomes available to that dealer. I ordered my 2016 GT on 9/11/2015. It is 9/25/2015 and I got my vin today. I had a previous dealer that gave me the run around with status updates and getting me the dora...I cancelled my order and went to another dealer...now I am happy.

So I placed an order for a 16 GT back in August 7th, and I just got informed my scheduled build week isn't until another month from now (10/26/15). Isn't that SUPER SLOW? My priority was 13, which isn't 10, but should my order really be THAT far behind others due to just that? So frustrated T_T. Do you guys know if there is anything that can be done? My salesman isn't very helpful (or just doesn't really know what can be done). My current car is breaking parts left and right, so it would be nice if I got my new one sooner rather than later :frusty:
I got the same exact dates. They put in the order on 8/18. Scheduled build date 10/26. Same dealer. They just want us to wait...

Yeah, I don't know whats up with that :(

At least we have each other's misery. We're not alone haha. Oh well. I guess I'll just use that extra month to save more for the down payment.

Lets  when we finally get our cars haha.

Yep, i'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with allocations. I don't think it has anything to do with priority numbers.
