I had 08 Cali special. I literally chose it because it had 2 tone seats and that was the only way to get them.

Looking at a 2020 California Special in GA.
Don't see much to justify the price.

It's a package car with some unique options on it like badging and special seat inserts. Cool looking cars tho.

i mean..yeah. imo doesnt look as good as my alcantara recaros in my 1le camaro...but they are still really nice and are a nice option. kind of a shame they dont allow performance pack with the package though.

Ford's online configurator colors suck! Velocity Blue is stunning, but this looks more like Grabber Blue.........which Ford NEED to bring back for the final year ('22MY) of S550!!

The California Special may only be an appearance package, but for someone like me that gets off on Mustang's heritage, it's one of the most desirable looking Mustangs available. And that grille should have been the style the Mach 1 used, in my 'umble opinion

Yeah, had to scour the internet looking for real pictures of the color before deciding to place the order. My humble photography opinion...they should drop the renders and do infinity cove 360 shots of every color. But that would cost more than the industry standard.

I wish ford would bring back Sonic Blue. That was a nice color

Looked it up, completely agree. If that had been available alongside VB, it would have caused a few sleepless nights agonizing over the choice

My boss in 03 had a Sonic Blue Lightning that thing was so nice. I think the 03 Cobra came in that blue also. It looks a lot like Kona without the Purple in it.

Yes, I had an 03 Cobra and loved that color. By far, my favorite color Ford has ever made. Me being a dumbass 23 year old, wrapped it around a tree after 10 months.

The Ford Sonic Blue looks like 1977 Corvette Blue.
(I don't remember the name of the color)

I had my wife's '77 Trans Am painted the Corvette color.
Had a light Blue to dark Blue Screamin' Chicken decal added.

BEAUTIFUL, just BEAUTIFUL (she hated the color)

I had a 2008 convertible C/S black and a 2009 coupe C/S white. I chose them after owning a 2006 Mustang and learning which performance and appearance options I would spend money to have. It was mainly a matter of the interior trim and seats, and the distinction. The C/S package was a good value, compared to acquiring and installing the components.

If you were persistent (and lucky) you could find the occasional S197 GT with the C/S interior. I'd already bought too many GT/CSs.
