It lifts up to 8k lbs. it won’t even notice the mustang. It’s more for off-road use, like changing a tire, lifting you out of a hole you dug yourself in etc....I have never seen this before. As hilarious as it is, I would never bet my car, let alone my life, on a bright orange balloon.
Lol yeah I wouldn’t get under it without some jack stands but it’s a tough kit. Much stronger than you would think. Easy to use if you were out in the middle of nowhere.Yeah I looked up pictures, pretty crazy stuff. I'd just be worried about a catastrophic failure. My cobbled together stacks of 2X4's I know won't let me down.
Don't use the "Junk In The Trunk" if you do not have the PP1 with Front Brembo calipers, you can get a kit from Ford. If you have the PP1 I forgot who, sells the tire and kit for like $500, not cheap.Spare tire? I got a nice inflator and a can of leak seal from Ford! But they did throw in roadside assistance.
That's not ridiculous; it's a smart decision to push the fatigue life of those axles out by a factor anywhere from 8x to 32x.1500 hp half shafts on 750 whp car is ridiculous but i got em... lol. In other words ridiculousness is in the eye of the beholder...
It makes sense in racing where there's prize money at stake, where only a second saved can mean the difference between winning and being an also-ran. Nothing on the street, or at autocross or HPDE, is under that kind of time pressure.Geez, you guys are tough. IndyCar and different sports car classes use air lift systems. There was also a rumor that NASCAR was going to use them back in 2018.
Like thisYeah, it probably would attract attention at a car show. How long before somebody takes it a step further and makes their Mustang "dance", like a lowrider car?
