Well, crap...

I kissed a concrete curb with the tip of my front splitter, and now it's got this kind of white curly plastic fuzz.

What could I use to buff that out and smooth it down just a little without sanding it smooth?

Back in the day when I had my first performance car with low profile, 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport coupe. I scraped mine as well. I've since learned the hard way to keep well away from the concrete curbs and wheel stops in parking lots.

Anyway...I had success witha heat gun and a putty knife. Follow?

A dremel with soft sandpaper attachment. Though not sure what to touch up with it after its hard to match the flat black plastic.

I would just take it off, sand it smooth, and then wrap it with vinyl

If it's a small area on the plastic you could try a heat gun or light flame to smooth it out. I've done this before on the interior plastic of my past rides with decent success.

It is actually a really small area, just about 1" to 1.5" that's scuffed. I'll post a pic soon. The heat gun thing might be worth a try. I was also wondering if a medium scotch-brite pad might help.
