**I have no knowledge of these guys or have watched video**
Whats the business model? Find anything you can sell or melt down to raw material? It looks like maybe the engine and parts of it are recoverable for sale or getting some of a coyote swap for cheap. hey rock on i guess.
Looks like alcohol may have been involved in those mods. (Meant as a humorous, not so humorous opener)
Can we say, "High performance car, low performance driver"?
OK, it is not a really high-performance car (race car), but it is more than probably 75% of the cars on the road. As much as I support individual freedom, I am beginning to think that our system for acquiring a driver's license in the USA is woefully deficient. I will be the first to admit that I have pulled some really stupid stunts in my cars over the years and have been lucky to survive. Now that I have more time on my clock and am going to start HPDE I understand that driving skill is far more important than horsepower and really wide tires. I started modifying my car after I bought it and am happy with what I have done. But I have to agree with the more knowledgeable folks on this forum, and we all know who they are, that money is better spent learning how to control and drive the car effectively, THEN modify to meet your needs and expectations. I know that there are other places on this planet where a driver's license can take up to two years to acquire and that those folks are, on the whole, much better and safer drivers than most Americans. Of course, being under the influence of chemicals or distractions can kill no matter what the skill level is of a normally sober and focused driver.
My intent is not to hijack the thread, but to ask that while we chuckle at the comedy, we also take a moment to think about what we are doing while driving. Afterall, those are our daughters, sons, fathers, mothers, and neighbors that are out there with us on the road. With great power comes great responsibility. And with responsibility comes consequence. Take care of your responsibilities and the consequences with usually be good. Fail to do so and the consequences will not be good.
I know that we do not know all of the details of how this happened and who or what is at fault, but this triggered the dad in me, and I wanted to get this off my chest Now, back to our regular programming.
I wouldn't buy a car like that if it were a death machine. Picking human bits from from a wreck makes my skin crawl. No idea if it is the case with that one though.
