Sounds odd but I want to see what people specifically enjoy in their car? Customization? Self Expression? Canyon carving? Track?

I'm interested to hear what you have to say. I'm sort of losing the excitment factor, mostly because the Pandemic really hurt the car scene in my area, but also I have a new born. I also sold my bike so it's been tough going on cruises, meets, and just enjoying the canyon.

BUT! Thank God my wife said if I sold my bike, I can get any car I want. Naturally it's gotta be affordable lol. Looking into Mach 1s and GT350s now. ZL1 maybe? I love the track... Like, a lot.

Not just cars! Go ahead and bring in the motorcycles, boats, planes, anything with a motor.

First and foremost is how it drives. How it looks is important, inside and out. American brands couldn't seem to figure out that a nice exterior is worthless if the inside looks like an afterthought. I was pleasantly surprised when I had my 2016 GT/CS, since it's the first American car I've driven that nailed both. I always loved the exterior of the newer mustangs since the S197 came out, but the interior looked like a truck.

I've chosen Mustangs because I think they represent the very best value in a performance car, are available with manual transmissions, and because they are the most customizable. And they look great, even stock.

The GT350s are great track cars (GT500s are OK if you know how to drive an automatic,) and they are customizable too.

Plus, you can take a Mustang anywhere. I have room for only one car. If my DD was an Aston Martin, I'd be worried about it running errands. I offer no advice about planes, boats, or motorcycles.

I want to get the Supra or new TLX Type S but sadly no manual. Same with the Stinger.

I'm also pleadently surprised at it's performance. I bought mine used with 32k miles for just $25k. People want to drive my car, which is odd coming from truck or JDM die hards.

I had to retire my 06 GT in nov 2020 when the auto trans died. Too many little things to keep it going. It was my DD since new and had 110,000 miles on it. My 21 GT/CS is keeping the magic alive. Been a fan of stangs since I was a kid. The 68 in my avatar is a work in progress for me and my son. We hope to have it rolling by end of year. Looking forward to seeing them both side by side hopefully by next summer.

Pretty much love everything about it. Doubling the RWHP was just the icing on the cake.

I wake up on a weekday to go to work. It's made better when I go to the garage to see what's taking me there. Get off work excited to drive home. A lot of times I take different routes home to enjoy the car. I fall in love every single time I see it knowing it's mine to drive.

I know the feeling!
When I used to commute to work, I always chose the 50-minute canyon route instead of the 45-minute freeway, and those were always my favorite parts of the day.

State routes beat freeways every time!

Different routes? I'm going to try that tomorrow! Thanks.

So far this is the only car I've done that with besides my first car. Never done in my last several and a few of those were awesome cars too like a 2010 Raptor 6.2L and a 2011 GT500. Actually avoided long drives in the GT500, felt like it was beating me up after 2 hours in the drivers seat. As you know, this car begs to be driven. May drive mine across the country to mustang week next year. Also may lightly stalk @Jmeo 's wide body Shelby while on that side too lol.
