What light is this?

The larger map lights are behind these and are controlled by the buttons by them and
come on when the door is opened.
What are these smaller lights called and when do they come on?
Also what is the function of that rectangle to the right of the circled light?

The circled item looks like a light bulb to me. Can anyone clue me in to what it actually is? There is 2 of them.

The face of that little thing has a metallic grid on it... I suspect its the temperature sensor for the interior. One on each side for split temp controls.

The rectangle in the center, which is oddly offset, seems to be the Sync microphone.

These are my guesses, nothing to back it up. But it makes sense...
