Ya, I learned that when we go to the Ford dealership no matter the state of the oil they are gonna still change it and charge for us, right now they are charging $130 for just the oil change in the Dallas area.

I changed it in March 22 at Valvoline and they suggested to change in Aug or after 3k miles

5-6k for me.

Wow, that is a lot.

Here in Chesapeake, Cavalier Ford changed my oil for $56, and that was less than it cost me the time I changed it myself.
…But I still kinda want to change it myself.

6-7k miles. I curse the engineer that placed the oil filter location every time.

Every 3,000 miles when I had access to a lift. Now DIY at home, it will be every 5,000 miles. 5W-30 Winter, 5W-40 the rest.
