What is this sound.

I just got an oil change not too long ago. Im starting to hear this noise. It sounds like the tick most coyote owners talk about but im not sure. Can someone tell me if its rod knock ?

It is a 2019 a10 car . only thing on it is headers. the car isnt tuned yet though.

It is also coming from the passenger side of the car towards the front. From the videos ive seen it sounds very similar to the DI pump. But I want to be sure before I flash my tune

Hey Kam, yeah that sorta sounds like 'the tick' to me, I had it on my '19 too. It seems to go away (or much less pronounced) with some Ceratec

There are a lot of threads on the tick, and the general consensus is that it's harmless.

I can hear it really bad at the top of the motor, passenger side, towards the front. Cjpony did a video and said it's the DI pump. I've seen other videos and it sounds just like the DI pump so I just wanted to make sure. Damn noise is scary when u only have 23k on a motor
