for PP wheels the quote from ford service said that no special considerations will be needed for the performance brakes. So i am guessing a much larger selection of wheels that has the right offset will fit?

That could be more of what ford said about the new double ball joint front suspension allowing for bigger brakes. bringing them farther inboard so normal wheels can fit, i think that opens the door up for 18s on the PP

yes and no. When talking about OEM factory 2015+ Ford mustang wheels with standard OEM brake calipers that is true. those wheels are designed for this application and to give the appropriate clearance. However, in the world of aftermarket wheels if you want to go wide - all bets are off. This is compounded with a 6pot brembo and 10.5" or wider high offset rims. this issue of caliper-to-rim clearance can show up on small diameter front brake calipers also

Each aftermarket wheel design has a unique spoke shape, lip size/depth and so for a given offset, brake caliper clearance will vary. Especially when looking at +48 or +52 offsets. When there is this much offset, and 9.5" or wider (we are trying to fit 11" and 12" wide rims currently). It's of critical importance that you ensure proper clearance from caliper to rim.

In fairness, we've only been given the offsets for the PP wheels, not any of the other optional wheels.

that is a great tool.

but backspace info is needed.

beers
Wheel width, offset, and backspacing are inter-related, so if you know any two you can determine the third. Strictly speaking, the thicknesses of the wheel flanges is also variable (you need this to convert between nominal "advertised" width and actual overall width), but for most practical purposes you can use 0.5".

I really just wish we could get some straight dope on the standard 18" wheels, like on the EB with optional 18" foundry wheels..... WILL THE 18" wheels from a 2014 fit right?!!! I gotta buy Winter wheels and tires ASAP.

Will the rear GT PP wheels fit on the front? I prefer a square setup so want to run 4 rear wheels & tires.

bolt pattern/offset for 2015 mustang wheels

confirmed, that is correct. I have the list of available wheel sizes with offsets if you would like to know any of the other options

For our ecoboost stang we will run an 11" rear rim and 10" front volk wheel..
yes, i'd like that list...i'm planning on purchasing the Mustang EcoBoost w/o the PP...if possible, i'm looking for a less expensive version of the HRE FlowForm (FF01) i'm looking for 20x9.5 wheel w/ 275/35/20 tire

You might want to keep 20 x 10's (perhaps with 6 - 7 mm lower offset) in mind as well - I think 275/35's would work a little better at 10". Might even be able to run stock camber, based on what Geoff said earlier about 10.5's or 11's.

right now our plan for our SEMA build is:

20x10 +40 on the front
20x11 +48 on the rear

there are many combinations of widths and offsets in and around that area. Also to answer your question Ronnie, here is the list of OEM S550 sizes from Ford which was shared at the measuring session and someone posted here:

17 x 7.5 et 37.5
18 x 8.0 et 40.0
19 x 8.5 et 42.5
19 x 9.0 et 45.0 (GT PP Front)
19 x 9.5 et 52.5 (GT PP Rear)
20 x 9.0 et 42.5

ive spent the better part of last week swapping wheels on our 2015 mustang ecoboost.. the benchmark wheel is an Advan RSD 20x10 +35

In the front (with oem camber) the inner lip is 13mm from the strut. the outer lip is flush with the fender

In the rear (with oem camber) the inner lip is 57mm from the strut. the outer lip is 6mm from the fender

our aggressive new wheel selection is Volk TE37 Ultra:
Front: 20x10 +35
Rear: 20x12 +48

this is very aggressive wheel fitment, however our penske suspension will have camber plates so at -3 front and -2 rear i think it will fit with just a little massaging...
