I took a minor rock hit to my windshield yesterday and after contacting my insurance company was getting it replaced this morning. When I talked to them I mention I needed sound senor glass, rain sensor glass and the ford logo, so that's what they ordered.

The company came to my house and started to install it and then realized that I didn't have the rain sensor, was told I only had the wiper delay feature or something like that. The said they would be back this afternoon with the correct windshield and install it which is fine by me.

I could have sworn that I had the automatic wipers that come on for rain, I guess not, exactly what do I have?

Thanks

Rain sensor is a sensor on the windsheild that detects rain droplets and turn on the wiper automatically.
Wiper delay is just the knob that tells the wiper how fast it should wipe.
It's pretty obvious if you have rain senor because there would be a big black box on the windshield.
