P0100 code and heavy rain

Car sat in heavy heavy rain for about 6 hours today during work. Got in car, Started it up it ran like shit for about 5 seconds and turned off. Tried to start it right back up and it immediately shut off. 3rd time the service wrench popped up and said see manual. Ran my scanner and got a p0100 code, I cleared that tried to start it and it shut off again. Figured I was F’d so I started looking for a ride. About 15mins passed got in car and it was all clear and drove home fine....

Alls I can think is maybe water got into my roush filter through the vents and it was clogged or something ?

No mods or anything have been made in awhile. But today’s rain was a first it was heavy.

If the cover is off your air filter, you guessed it, the filter gets soaked along with the MAF.
Water pours in from the hood vent and most filters cant suck when soaked.
I'm sure if you pull the filter you will not only note that it is soaked, but possible water down the tube and a wet MAF too.
I had to put my cover back on because of this and no problems since then.
