Greetings,

I have beaten this horse to death. I have posted several questions on suspension upgrades and I really appreciate all the great feedback from everyone.
Thank you all very much!

From your feedback I now have a really clear Idea on what to do to maximize the suspension on my 2022 Mustang GT Premium, with a base suspension, to achieve the handling I really want. The problem is I do not want to spend the money. It is not just the cost of the parts, but the cost of the labor to have a shop install them, and the cost of a wheel alignment that would also be needed. I am retired, and unfortunately I am facing some very expensive medical bills that is cutting into my Mustang money.

I recently installed a BMR rear sway bar with end links this Fall and, I plan on installing a BMR front sway bar with end links in the Spring when I take my Mustang out of winter storage. That is where I want to stop for now because of my upcoming medical bills. I no longer have the factory rear sway bar. What are your opinions on only doing this? I will never track or drag my Mustang. Will there be any benefit at all in doing this?

Thanks, Edgemere

The car is great straight out of the factory. Upgrades are fine but in my opinion they are often just to satisfy your desire to personalise your car. Trust me, I have done plenty. Just drive your car and enjoy it. If and when the money is free and you feel the urge, you can do it without stressing yourself.

^^What Bulutt said. Take care of you first and enjoy the car as is. It’ll be there when you’re ready then you can mod away!

I could not agree more.
The factory's wheels alignment comes just perfect.
From all the cars I had in the past, the GT's are the only ones which I did not need to correct alignment from day 1...
And more: My 2018 GT has now 30,000 km and still no need to correct it.

Thanks for the kind remarks. I have committed to the BMR front & rear sway bars. In your opinion(s) A benefit or a hindrance? I will have them set up on the medium setting front and back. The rear has already been installed and the front will be done in the Spring.

are you upgrading tires/rims? From the factory my 21 gt was loose. I put 305's on all 4 corners and the car got tight (understeer). A performance alignment helped, -2 camber up front. I was considering an adjustable sway bar to fix the understeer. I wouldnt dump any more money into the susp until you get wider tires.
