A little under $26,000 + a 04 Subaru legacy trade in. For 2015 manual base mustang ecoboost w/ spare tire and wheel upgrade special order back in September 14 received mid November
So did they give you $10 or $10,000 for the Subaru?

You never really know how good a deal is when there's a trade. A trade in that gets $5k off but is worth $15k isn't a great deal. A trade that gets $5k off but is worth $5k... now we're talking real numbers.

I'm not saying I got a good deal just stating what I paid. the car was $29,500 after tax I believe so about $3,500 off. Think it was $1,500 for the Subi she was pretty beat to be honest. although I could have Craig's listed it for much more...maybe $4-6,000. It is what it is. Happy with the new car.

Locally here in Florida that's probably what I would be paying for that. I'm traveling for this one. And yes out the door

This is my window sticker and I paid 35k before tax. OTD was 37k
Koons Ford Baltimore (Tom Snyder is the person you want to speak with http://www.koonsbaltimoreford.com/ )

Convertible EcoBoost:

MSRP: $39,565
Paid: $35,264 (after rebate but before tax and tags). This was lower than my USAA price, not by much.

Exterior Color: Magnetic Metallic

Interior Color: Ebony

Options: Voice-Activated Navigation System (91N), Wheels: 18" X 8" Foundry Black Painted Aluminum (641), Equipment Group 201a (201A), Transmission: 6-Speed Selectshift Automatic (443)

Now I need to figure out where to get some tint done in VA, DC, or MD

I'm planning to go to TintFX in Fairfax. I haven't gotten a quote from them yet (figured I would wait until I got the car at least), but they get insanely good reviews on yelp and facebook. They carry 3M and Suntek films.

There was one in Sterling which is closer to me, but it has up and down reviews.

I just got a "On-the-road"/OTD price from them via email, which includes rebates I qualify for. The OTD price pretty much matched X-plan pricing (before TTL) exactly. Would you say they are reputable and stuck by the quote they gave you? I hear crazy deals on these forums that come from them, but it frankly seems too good to be true.

My V6 w/051A was $21,700 before TTL. I just don't think there is much demand for a manual V6 and the one I got was on the lot for 6 months. Here many dealers put state inspection stickers on them when they arrive so it is easy to know about when the dealer got it.

He quoted me 34k, but when I got there it was 35k.

BUT he quoted me 38k with car, tax, tags, rebate (OTD price). When it was all said and done, he beat his own quote for OTD (this was before my money down and trade-in, which I negotiated separately).

My answer is no on quote but yes on OTD price.

*OTD I mean everything except for down payment and trade-in, to be clear.

I worked with Tom on price and he passed me to Sales Consultant Verlyn Barnes to help walk me through the sale. Basically Verlyn was there to sale me options, of course. Nice guy, also on the square.

In all, I went through several dealers in MD and VA... Baltimore people stuck with the deal and did not try to BS me. Easy sale on their part once we got numbers down. Heck, I walked in with my title of my old car, extra keys, financing from Navy Fed (which they beat as well, got me 1.7%) and did the deal. I did not try last minute negotiating, which I might have saved $500 or so dollars or maybe even $1000 or maybe nothing. I'm happy with the price.

Of course finance will try to sell you all those crazy options. Be nice and tell the person "no". ;)

If you know your numbers, and don't try to get ridiculously cheap, then you should be okay.

You can try, but they might say they can't do it on that, but can on something else. I don't usually negotiate on separate pieces of the cost of the car. I negotiate on 3 things, what I want to pay for the car OTD, then what I want to get for a trade in (if applicable) and what I want for financing (if applicable).

Zooming in on the car, if they discount the transportation, application fee, msrp, or whatever else, who cares? Point is I want to walk out the door after paying taxes and tags for $x amount. If they can make it happen, great.

All of that said:

I believe x plan delivery and destination is $825 and is what Ford charges the dealer so $800 sounds good. Just make sure they aren't making it up somewhere else (I don't think they are, both Koons Ford Baltimore and Koons Ford Sterling are SOLID).
