That's a decent deal for a new car, but not a great deal for a year-old car. MSRP is about $100 more than my car, and you are paying about $1,000 less than the invoice price I got in November, 2014.

Personally, even though that car is "new," I think it's worth about $30k max right now. Certainly you can find very clean 15s in the 28k to 30k range.

I'd want them to sharpen their pencils a good bit more.

Here's a deal on a 16 'vert from a post a page back. Look at the actual price versus the invoice. And this is for a 16! You should be doing much better than that on a 15.

2016 GT Premium Convertible
Performance Pack
Luster nickel wheel finish
Ruby Red
Ebony Premium Trim
401A package

MSRP $48,070
Invoice $45,534.80

Koons Price $41,500

True, but here is the situation. If I get a used 15 Mustang for about $28k-$30k, there is at least a 3% interest and it would cost me the same as a $33k-$34k new 15 GT with 0% interest.

The only thing attracting me is the 0%

You have more leverage than you think. It will be hard for the dealer to shift that car without giving a significant discount on MSRP. 2017s will be out soon, and the car has been sitting on the lot for ages. You also need to factor in depreciation, as son as you drive it off the lot, its value is that of a 2015, regardless of when you purchased it.

True enough. But it's still a price you could get tomorrow on a new 16. You can beat it, in fact. Might get the 16 for that payment if you work at it.

Okay so I just got back from the dealership. The price he quoted above was with all the rebates and they don't apply if I go with 0% financing. If I were to go with 0%, the price would be $37,000:shrug::headbonk:

Got my Ecoboost PP automatic for 27,419 OTD, which includes the killer 8.625% New York State sales tax. Actual price before taxes was about 25,300. Got it from Koons Ford in Falls Church, highly recommend checking the D.C./Virginia area out for great prices.

Hi guys,

I was waiting on seeing the 2017 Colors in the flesh before placing an order.

Based on you guy's experience, how much of a deal do you think I can get on a 2017 GT Premium PP W/ Recaros?

Seeing as there isn't much of a change if any on the upcoming 17's compared to the previous MY I would hope I could get away with one at a similar price the 2016's are going for..

On Truecar a 2016 Premium PP w/ Recaros are estimated at $37500 Before Tax
Do you guys think I could swing this with a 2017 or am I being naive? Furthermore, do you thinks its possible to get away with a price below Truecar's estimated $37500?

Hoping to place an order within the next month!!:headbang:

I've seen a few cars listed below truecars pricing at a couple of the bigger dealerships near the east coast, but they may not have the exact options you want and it sounds like they tack on a few extra fees.

There's already a price increase for 2017 model year over a $1K from 2016
