I always thought that "A" plan was the best deal because it is the real employee price, but based on what I am reading, $5K off less rebates is not a very good deal on a $43K GT Premium California Special.

When it came to the different plans, I thought the same...must be a better deal. But compared to 1 or 2 dealers I've spoken to...it's not. They can do significantly better OTD. No membership needed. No connections needed. Just see what rebates you may qualify for and get a coupon and you're a couple grand ahead of all these plans.I always thought that "A" plan was the best deal because it is the real employee price, but based on what I am reading, $5K off less rebates is not a very good deal on a $43K GT Premium California Special.
The "A" plan is all hold backs, no advertising and a fixed $275 fee, less rebates. I think it is the rebates at the time that have the impact, I also think people are including value of the trade in the numbers that they are talking. I have beat "X" plan, but never "A" plan. When it came to the different plans, I thought the same...must be a better deal. But compared to 1 or 2 dealers I've spoken to...it's not. Again, just my experience. I'd love to be proven wrong!

Problem is that the "invoice" price is significantly more for the plans than what I'm seeing listed as normal pricing on the dealer sites. So again, seems like they are robbing the dealer/Ford blind but it's just a poorly labeled price that leads people to believe they are getting a special deal. The "A" plan is all hold backs, no advertising and a fixed $275 fee, less rebates. Yea, it was a very easy experience compared to what I was anticipating. They started a little too high for what I wanted to finance but through a few clever rebates and beating my pre-approved financing they actually undercut my goal.Good deal.
Seems like Koons is really consistent with their pricing and basically has a no negotiations policy. That's nice.
When you ask how the $6K is calculated, they start back peddling. They are going to send me an email with the details. I have seen too many ads like this and once you peel the onion back, you find that it includes a trade, or high finance rates, or something else that makes it not what it appears.Akins Ford, Ga now has all mustangs $6,000 off MSRP for those interested. Really tempting!
Just had a similar experience. Asked if rebates from ford were figured in to their "our price". They weren't able to tell me without a contact number/e-mail.When you ask how the $6K is calculated, they start back peddling. They are going to send me an email with the details. Sorry, I don't trust car dealers.
Here is what they told me.Both posts make sense to me I hope some forum members will share their experiences with the dealership. A couple people have bought from them. I recall one member got 11,000 off MSRP and posted an invoice I believe but it was a 2015 in triple yellow a unpopular color option.
