Don't know if I ever posted, but I got my V6 051A package with Auto trans for $22,384. I had to have a trade tho and took bare wholesale for it though, but they didn't make me use their financing and keep it for 3 months like some have to. I got less than 2% APR. Killer deal. It's no GT, but it's a lot of car for what I paid.

I am actually currently shopping between Koons Baltimore and Koons Sterling. Both seem like good people so far and great prices. Glad to hear someone having good experience from them.

Heck you probably saw the car I am about to pickup from them.
Hey guys, new here but on other Mustang forums. I'm thinking of trading in my base 2014 GT man. for a 2016. Haven't decided exactly what yet, leaning towards either a base GT with a couple options or a loaded ecoboost and think I want auto this time. Anyway, after an extensive search it looks like this place has the best advertised prices I've found, but they are about a 7 hour drive away so not sure what to do? I know I want to try to stay around 30k if possible and most of the dealers around here are asking at least 3-4 grand more than that for what I'm looking for.

I was in your boat. Just make sure any incentives they are applying pertain to you in your state and I was more than willing to fly in drive it home. If you have a trade then you have to drive in. With these deals you get wholesale for your trade though, but they will do a preliminary appraisal sight unseen. And hey, ASK the local dealer to match it. My wife did this, I thought she was crazy. They did and I did not have to take the crappy financing either. She even got them to throw in the spare tire so it was a better deal even!

I wouldn't go down to an EB. You'll definitely miss the power. I just traded in my 13 premium V6 for a 16 GT. I was just over $32 with taxes and fees. Put a few grand down and financed about $29k. It was a base but the base on S550 has all the same stuff as a premium S197 minus the leather and my color option. I'd go that route.

I want to thank this thread and forum for helping me find my car at a great price. After seeing Baltimore Koons Ford pop up under several posts, I attempted to reach out to dealers here in Florida asking them for their best price, knowing what was possible. Offers were $42-43k out the door. My target price was $37ish with an out the door of around $40k.

The car I was looking for:
Magnetic
GT Premium
Performance Pack
Nav
401a
Enhanced Security

I was able to find the exact car at Koons on the day it arrived from the factory. The only difference was it had the floor mats option, so no big deal. This is also a California Emissions car, but not a deal breaker there since I live in FL and can tune that out or add any non-CARB parts I want.

MSRP: 42870 (41970 + 900 destination)

Anyways, I got a great deal, in my opinion:

$ 35,921 WOW Price

$ 900 Freight

$ 2,257 Tax

$ 300 MD processing

$ 363 Tags +

$ 39,741 on the road

I also have an additional $750 in private cash and may qualify for another $500 for lease conquest. AND... They're paying for my flight up from FL. They use a titling agency to register in any state as well.

Salesman: Christos Koulatsos

I pick her up on Friday and road trip back home. [emoji119]

Only reason I was thinking EB is better mileage since most of my driving is on the highway and I heard about really good gains on a tune and rumors the new procal tune may be good for as much as 90hp/110tq and still be under warranty. But after reading this thread, it looks like I forgot about sales tax in my calculations and that will change things. I was trying to figure out how to swing a prem. GT without increasing my payments by no more than $50 or so, but that looks to be out the window at the moment. This is based on the assumption I can get about what I owe on my 2014 (which may be a stretch), but even then I would have to pay the tax on the full purchase price I believe.

mine a 2016 v6 base for 27000 otd with maintenance plan. I feel I over paid but at the same time I was upside down on my trade a bit. I'm going to hopefully pay this one down a bit cuz now I want a gt. but we'll see.

Manual or auto? Mine was $21,300 before fees with xplan and $750 ford bonus and dealer discounts.

I wouldn't go down from a GT. I refuse to even drive a GT. Even if one of you guys handed me the keys I wouldn't do it. Would ruin the experience of my V6, which is satisfying for what I paid. When I go in for my driveshaft replacement, if they hand me a GT, I'll say no, just give me something with 4 wheels. Better NOT to know what you are missing.

That's what I said. Then I drove one. Took me 4 years, but I did. Bought one 4 days later.
