looks amazing, mine never turns out that shiny (or clean for that matter :cwl::blush:) when i do it
Haha thanks, don't be fooled though. I'm very obsessive when it comes to cleaning, my "quick wash" is 2-3 hours! I'm getting some detailing supplies for my birthday in the week, so my next clean will be a lot more involved - been a while since I decontaminated the paint and added a good layer or 2 of protection.

Drove to the office this morning, parked close to the building so I could admire the shine 😍

rubbed the plasterboard of the garage wall with the front passenger tyre, guess that was a little too close lol. Lucky i had the steering turned and the tyre rubbed before the bodywork. Parking marker / stop has been reset and driver has taken onboard additional training and instruction

Fitted one of those Chinese diesel heaters to keep it warm over winter, makes working in the garage a pleasure!

…..also got rid of the Airaid oval on the intake elbow and fitted a custom Ford Performance one instead
Can you tell I’m bored and putting off doing my VAT? 🤭

Hit a pothole which left a big split in tyre wall. Called Ford Assist and the AA arrived promptly (lucky for me he was just finishing a job nearby). Thought people might be interested to know they carry a temporary wheel with an adaptor that will fit on the rear. We put that on and he followed me home. Tyre was only a few months old so quite annoying!

I finally unboxed the wet/dry vac that I got for my birthday a few weeks back. Remembered I got a tiny attachment kit years ago that didn't fit the vacuum I had at the time.

Took it for a spin and used this tiny brush to hit the dash, radio, buttons and all the tiny nooks. New levels of detailing satisfaction were achieved :sunglasses:

washed the outside of it, actually not too bad a job this time round. Pulled the temporary oil temperature sensor wire out of the engine bay and glove box as no longer needed (since june / july 2023 but hey ho the gauge was off the dash so nothing was in my way..)

Just ordered my first essentials: (Facelift GT Convertible in Lucid Red)

1. Ford Performance Bonnet Strut Kit
2. Door Check covers
3. Oil! (just in case)

As a new S550 owner, I love having the support and part availability..

The only niggle I have is the rusted door check attachment plates.. really shoddy quality, but I'll clean them up, treat, paint, protect then throw the covers on..

Nice!
One quick tip (you may be able to guess how I know about this) - make sure you route the washer jet hose properly around the driver's side FP Hood Strut, otherwise it can get crushed!
I think there is a thread about that somewhere on here...
